Project Restore, the Cross River State Women’s Dignity Initiative, gives women who have suffered from obstetric fistula a second chance at life through surgical repair and comprehensive aftercare, providing free VVF/RVF repair surgery for 20 women with rehabilitation, empowerment and reintegration support.
Obstetric fistula is one of the most devastating childbirth injuries, yet it is almost entirely preventable and treatable. Beyond the operating room, we provide counselling, reproductive-health education, and economic reintegration support so that recovery is lasting, helping each woman return to her family and community with confidence.
