No woman should lose her dignity, rights, livelihood or voice because of the loss of a spouse. The Widowhood Justice & Empowerment Summit brings together traditional rulers, legal experts, and community leaders to confront widowhood abuse head-on, and to empower 30 widows in Imo State with legal support, business starter tools, and livelihood training.
Held at the Obi Ndi Eze Imo Palace in Owerri, the summit combines advocacy with practical action: protecting inheritance rights, ending harmful widowhood practices, and helping each woman rebuild with confidence.
